Himalayan Cat Care

Caring for your Himalayan cat starts with proper nutrition, proper grooming as well as routine veterinary care. Himalayan cats should be examined by your veterinarian at least once per year. Annual veterinary visits, deworming, vaccinations, and dental cleaning are all considered necessary care for your Himalayan cat.

Adopting a Himalayan cat or kitten from a breeder is a great way to acquire a new kitten. Doing your research before adopting a Himalayan kitten is key to ensuring you are adopting a kitten from a reputable breeder. We have Himalayan kittens available for adoption as part of our hobby.

When you adopt a kitten from us, we are here for you and the kitten for the life of our kitten and beyond. You become an extended family and we cherish updates on how your Himalayan kitten is developing.

We work with Grand Champion Persian and Himalayan bloodlines. We work with Kopy Kapp, Kinapak, Joleigh, Sandypaws, Stardazl, Brettachtal’s and Dreamz bloodlines.

Caring for your Himalayan kitten starts with the breeder. When you adopt a kitten from us, you can rest assured your kitten is healthy and thriving. Our kittens are examined by our licensed veterinarian and will be vaccinated and have age-appropriate deworming. We offer a health guarantee on our Himalayan kittens.

We talk to you about what you are looking for in a kitten to ensure we place you with a kitten that matches your family and household activity level. We want you to be happy with your new Himalayan kitten. In addition, our top priority is to ensure that the kitten is matched up appropriately with the household and family that suits the personality of our kitten.

We want to educate you about your new Himalayan kitten to ensure you understand what a Himalayan cat needs for their overall health and grooming needs and the minimum requirements of a brachycephalic breed. Brachycephalic breeds are dogs and cats that have flat faces and require special care. In addition, brachycephalic breeds are more affected by extremes in temperature. Due to Himalayan cats being a brachycephalic breed, they cannot be shipped “Air Cargo” and must travel on an airplane accompanied by their human companion or pet nanny. Himalayan cats should never be exposed to extreme heat or extreme cold.

Persian and Himalayan cats are the most popular cat breed. If you have never owned a Himalayan cat before, we encourage you to do your research as they require regular grooming.
