Brachycephalic breeds are dogs and cats that have flat faces and require special care. In addition, brachycephalic breeds are more affected by extremes in temperature. Due to Himalayan cats being a brachycephalic breed, they cannot be shipped “Air Cargo” and must travel on an airplane accompanied by their human companion or pet nanny. Himalayan cats should never be exposed to extreme heat or extreme cold.
